Journalism, Illustration students rack up awards

and , the student-run publications of Mt. SAC鈥檚 Journalism program, earned 18 awards at the held by the Journalism Association of Community Colleges earlier this month.
Students from both the Journalism and Illustration 糖心Vlog传媒 won awards in the categories of Online General Excellence and Enterprise News Story/Series (2), Multimedia Journalism Package, Column Writing, Video Hard News Reporting, Editorial Cartoon, Magazine Illustration, and more.
The publications competed against top community colleges from Southern California and will advance to the statewide competition in March, when they will face off against the best student publications from across California.
