Celebrate Earth Week On Campus

Mt. SAC will celebrate people, the planet, and prosperity during Earth Week, starting April 21 through April 25.
On April 21, take the . Calculate your footprint, watch a Mt. SAC sustainability video, and enter a raffle to win a Mt. SAC thermos and tote. Five winners will be chosen.
On April 22, there will be an , which will be at Miracle Mile from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be over 20 booths
with activities prepared to teach about the planet and why it鈥檚 important to protect
it. 
On April 23, the takes center stage at the Summit Event Center from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jamie Nicole Rocha and Gabrielle Rocha-Crowe of the Gabrielino-Shoshone Nation will discuss how indigenous knowledge combined with environmental science can protect the land and cultural heritage in the wake of fire risks.
On April 24, take a and discover how Mt. SAC is working toward carbon neutrality through sustainable buildings, infrastructure, and landscaping.
On April 25, embark on a in the Wildlife Sanctuary. Connect with nature, relax, and rejuvenate in a beautiful forest setting.
