"

My working career began on a dairy farm. Even though the cows made the work enjoyable, I began to have a desire to associate with people instead. With the enthusiasm from my family, I decided to attend a community college. I would be the first generation in the Dokter family to earn a college degree. How thankful I am to have made that decision because now I am able to share my experiences with students and encourage them to follow their passions. There's no greater gratification than witnessing students finding their goals come to light!
