Student Learning Outcomes

• Students completing Photography Courses will know the core skills of f/stop control. What the f/stops are, and what they do : control motion and depth of field
• Students that complete PHOT 14 will be able to apply lighting techniques for optimum imagery of glassware or reflective subjects.
• Students that complete PHOT 14 will be able to combine studio lighting techniques to produce imagery with optimum technical and aesthetic value.
• Students completing Photography Courses will know the core skills of shutter control. What the shutter speeds are, what they do: control exposure and motion
• Students that complete PHOT 14 will be able to apply color temperature and color correction tools (on-set and capture correction).
• Students that complete PHOT 14 will be able to apply main and secondary light sources to provide correct lighting ratios.
• Students that complete PHOT 14 will be able to apply location lighting techniques to produce high quality imagery.
